These are original poems, but I didn't write them. I just cut words out of magazines, newspapers, junk mail, and save them. Then I start arranging them on a page until I sumble upone something I like. Amazingly there are themes and threads that come from my subconsious mind while I'm cutting out words. I wish I had a better pair of scissors. http://chickollage.blogspot.com/2007/04/365-collage-poetry-challenge-day-6.html

THE COLLAGE POEM CALENDAR
Calendar January 2013 (12 Months)

Price: $12.49
Ships in 3-5 business days
This is a calendar illustrated with collage poems by tex norman. A collage poem is not written, it is selected and arranged. The message is discovered by sifting through thousands of words and phrases clipped from magazines and books and when a poem is discovered it is set in place with a glue stick. Enjoy discovered messages all year long.

A Valentine Collage Poem
The text.
Bear with me now.
It turns out time adds perspective.
You might be in for a real wake-up call,
but it's not better to sieze a moment
and act quickly.
Relationships are built
into the pauses.
Discord happens &
love hurts, but don't panic.
Pay attention to love's transformative powers.
"That's a little dramatic, don't you think?"
"Wrong!" I said.
Every day matters.
It is a real-world test.
Recommit to your relationship.
Even the most mundane
things get better.

Be Superficial
The text
You are too
hard on yourself.
You've got an advanced
case of
the worries.
Be superficial.
It feels naughty,
but it's not.
