These are original poems, but I didn't write them. I just cut words out of magazines, newspapers, junk mail, and save them. Then I start arranging them on a page until I sumble upone something I like. Amazingly there are themes and threads that come from my subconsious mind while I'm cutting out words. I wish I had a better pair of scissors. http://chickollage.blogspot.com/2007/04/365-collage-poetry-challenge-day-6.html

Revivify Life
the text
the most challenging ambition
is to revivify past experience
Let's get to the heart of the matter:
We know the importance of loafing
lies in how we measure ourselves.
Life
is either useful
or destructive.
Spot the difference.
Feel peaceful in a heartbeat.
Each morning
the day lies like a fresh shirt on our bed.
Enjoy.

The Shit List
The text of the poem
I
happen to be absolutely certain
the
shit list
can't
possibly be true.
Life
is an open
door
to all
that
is possible.
I
often student the joys and regrets of the ancient people,
the
bazaar
twisted
journey
the
great ideas of earthbound miscreants,
the
turmoil and instability
that's
going on.
This
is scary stuff, but
there's
nothing going on here
that
anyone should die for.
I
don't know why,
but
I have a feeling
that
suddenly all is
right
with the world.

Shenanigans
This is sarcasm. Shenanigans
get you into trouble. People tend to wag
their finger in a shenanigator’s face and tell you not to make waves, or rock
boats, or be different, but the different among us are not just interesting,
they make life interesting for all of us.
Don’t declare failure. Sitting up
straight is insignificant. Be
significant. Let the shenanigans of your
past haunt you. For shenanigators, it
isn’t haunting, its fond memories.
