These are original poems, but I didn't write them. I just cut words out of magazines, newspapers, junk mail, and save them. Then I start arranging them on a page until I sumble upone something I like. Amazingly there are themes and threads that come from my subconsious mind while I'm cutting out words. I wish I had a better pair of scissors. http://chickollage.blogspot.com/2007/04/365-collage-poetry-challenge-day-6.html

This is a calendar illustrated with collage poems by tex norman. A collage poem is not written, it is selected and arranged. The message is discovered by sifting through thousands of words and phrases clipped from magazines and books and when a poem is discovered it is set in place with a glue stick. Don't Wait. Live
the text
Hey! I've finally figured out what's
wrong with the world today!
We're doomed,
and yet, I am
not the least
bit worried.
Half the time, when asked what emptiness means
What what you say.
Know that nothing lasts forever.
Embrace current reality, because
a sense of urgency
is halfway between being too frightened
to act and too dumb
to know what to do.
What I know for sure
is you deserve to
embark on an unparalleled
intellectual journey where
there are no such things as
low expectations.
Life stays surprising.
Don't wait.
Live.
